§ 46-25. Abatement of chronic nuisances; provision of services; apportionment.

  • (a)

    Abatement by village . The village may abate chronic nuisances on real property by providing chronic nuisance services to curtail or eliminate the re-occurrence of nuisance activities. The costs of such chronic nuisance services shall be billed to the property owner and such costs may be collected by the village by any legal means.

    (b)

    Apportionment . Chronic nuisance service costs shall be entirely apportioned to the assessed real property receiving the chronic nuisance service.
