§ 58-13. Vendor qualifications/selection.

The policy of the village is to afford all businesses an opportunity for participation in the village's purchasing processes and to prohibit discrimination by the village or its vendors. The village will take all necessary, reasonable and legal action to prevent discrimination in its purchasing process, to afford all businesses, including local and small businesses, the maximum opportunity to participate in the village purchasing processes.

All village vendors must complete and submit a W-9 to the village in order to be qualified for purchases by the village and added to the village's vendor list. Vendors will be added to the village's vendor list after selection by the village as a provider of goods and/or services.
