§ 10-15. Nuisance abatement board.

The village intends to utilize the special magistrate to hear nuisance abatement matters; however, the village, acting at the direction of the village council, specifically reserves the right to create a nuisance abatement board, which shall be authorized to hear and review nuisance cases, determine the existence of a nuisance pursuant to village code and order abatement of same. The powers, membership and qualifications of such board shall be determined by village council.
